Champion Fusion is a feature that allows you to get a new Champion by fusing several available Champions.
Basics
Champion Fusion is accessible through your Portal. Each Champion can only be obtained by fusing the required Champions, which are shown below it.
If you have a required Champion in your collection, you’ll see a red spot in the top right corner of the Champion’s avatar.
Tap on the Champion to open the Champion selection window. If you have several Champions that meet the requirements for fusion, you can choose any of them by tapping their avatar.
Once you have selected all the required Champions, tap the “Fuse” button to get your new Champion.
Champion Fusion works like a development tree. Fuse low-level Champions to get a stronger one. Then get an even more powerful Champion by fusing this Champion with other required Champions.
Fusion Mechanics
You can only fuse Champions that are of the specified Rank or higher. The Champions must have the maximum Ascension Level for the specified Rank (or higher). They must be the maximum Level for that Rank (or for their current Rank, if their current Rank is higher) to be fused.
The Rank needed for Fusion depends on the Rarity of the Champion you’re trying to summon. For example, to summon a Legendary Champion, all the Champions you’re planning to fuse should have Rank 5, Level 50, and Ascension Level 5.
Types of Fusion
Fusions can be:
- Permanent. These are always available in the Portal (e.g., Relickeeper).
- Time-limited Fusions. These can be completed once.
All Champions in a time-limited Fusion can be fused only once.
During time-limited Fusion Events, players have an opportunity to get powerful new Epic and/or Legendary Champions. These multi-week Events require you to collect Champions or Fragments from various game Tournaments or Events to fuse the main Champion.
There are three types of Fusion Events:
- Traditional Fusions. Players need to collect Rare Champions, leveling and ranking them up to Rank 4 and Level 40 to fuse those into new Epic Champions. Then, Epic Champions should be leveled to 50 and Rank 5, fusing 4 Epic Champions into a single new Legendary.
- Fragment Fusions. Instead of Fusing Champions, players need to collect 100 Fragments of a specific Champion through in-game Events and Tournaments. Once you have 100 Fragments, you can Summon the Champion directly in the Fragment Summon tab.
- Hybrid Fusions. These are a combination of both other types, where you will collect Fragments to summon the new Epic Champions, who then require you to level, rank up, and ascend to fuse the Legendary.

The Fusion Calendar can be found in the following ways:
1. Plarium Play: Open the Plarium Play application on your PC > Home > RAID: Shadow Legends > click on the current Fusion Event
2. In-game News: Open the game > click on the Burger menu > News > click on the current Fusion Event

How to fuse a Champion
Each Champion to fuse has its list of Champions that can be obtained in different locations, summoned from Shards, or earned in the Tournaments and Events.
You cannot use Champions that:
- Have a lower Rank/Ascension level than needed for Fusion
- Are locked
- Are used in the Arena Defense
- Are used in the Grim Forest
Only Champions with the maximum Ascension Level and the maximum Level for their Rank can be used for Fusion.
Brief instruction:
1. Open the Summoning Portal Fusion tab
2. Choose a Champion you want to fuse
3. Fill in the Slots with necessary Champions (choose one and confirm your action by tapping his avatar on the left sidebar)
4. Do the same with other Champions
5. Tap the Fuse button

Frequently Asked Questions
1. I am missing Fusion Champions/Fragments from an Event/Tournament.
If you believe Fragments or Champions are missing, verify the milestones: double-check the Event/Tournament rewards tree to ensure you reached the exact point required for the Champions/Fragments.
2. Why is my Fusion Champion locked in Grim Forest?
A Champion cannot be used for a Fusion if they are currently assigned to the team Decks in Grim Forest. Remove them from all teams before attempting the Fusion. You may find how to remove Champions from the Decks here.

4. I missed the end of the Fusion Event. Can I still get the Champion?
Fusion events are strictly timed. Once the Fusion timer expires, the Fusion option is removed from the Portal.
Fragments already collected will remain on your balance. You can summon the Champion at any time.
5. Fragment Exchanges
These exchanges are usually limited to specific dates announced in the in-game News tab.
