Guide: Change Fusion Champion

You can replace the Champion in any active time-limited Fusion Event with a previous Fusion or Fragment Event Champion that you missed out on. The Champions that will be available to swap to during a Fusion Event will depend on your current roster of Champions.

If you missed a previous Fusion or Fragment Event and have not yet obtained that Champion via any other method, you can make them the targeted Champion of an active Fusion Event.

Note: if you previously collected 100 Champion Fragments for a Champion but are yet to summon them, they will be counted as obtained and you won’t be able to swap the current Fusion Champion for that one.

To swap the target Champion of a Fusion Event, you must first earn Fusion Tokens. These can be obtained by completing Fusion Events without swapping the target Champion. For every Fusion Event you complete, you’ll receive 1 Fusion Token.

When swapping a target Champion for a Fusion Event, all potential Champions you can swap to are divided into three tiers based on their strength. The stronger the Champion, the higher the Tier they’ll be placed in. The strongest Champions will require more Fusion Tokens to swap to them:

• Tier 1 Champions can be swapped to for 3 Fusion Tokens.
• Tier 2 Champions can be swapped to for 2 Fusion Tokens.
• Tier 3 Champions can be swapped to for 1 Fusion Tokens.

Once a target Champion for a Fusion Event has been swapped, Fusion Tokens will be deducted from your account and you will no longer earn a Fusion Token from that particular Fusion Event.

Note: if you swapped the target Champion but did not manage to complete the Fusion Event, the Fusion Tokens you spent will be returned to your account when the Event expires. You can then choose to spend them on future Fusion Events.
