The Progressive Chance Event offers players the opportunity to summon selected Champions, with their chances progressively increasing up to 25x. Players choose who they’d like to add to the Progressive Chance Event from a select pool of Champions, and start summoning. If the amount of Summon Slots is equal to the amount of Champions available, the Summon Slots will be automatically filled with the available Champions. The chance of summoning one of the chosen Champions will start at x15, and that chance will increase by summoning other Champions of the same Rarity from a particular Shard.
If a Progressive Chance Event is active for several Shard types, players can choose the Champions they want to summon for each Shard separately. Summoning a Champion from one Shard type will not affect the chances of getting Champions from other Shards. Also, the increased chances of summoning a Champion in one of the Summon Slots do not affect the chances of summoning a Champion of a certain Rarity.
Summon Slots
In order to take part in the Progressive Chance Event, players must first select which Champions they would like to boost the summon chances for. The color of the Summon Slots corresponds to the Rarity of Champion that can go into that Summon Slot. If the number of Champions available for selection equals the number of Summon Slots, then players won’t need to do anything. They can simply start summoning.
Note: when the Summon Slots are empty, the increased summon chance does not apply. Players can continue summoning Champions from Shards even if the Summon Slots are empty, but they will not receive the additional summon boost.
Available Champions
With each Progressive Chance Event, there will be a selection of Champions for players to choose from. Players must choose from this selection of Champions to fill the Summon Slots, making sure that the Rarity of Champions matches the Rarity indicated on each Summon Slot. Once the Champions have been chosen and added to the Summon Slots, players must confirm their choices before returning to the Portal and starting to summon.
Champions in the Summon Slots can be replaced at any time. Increased summon chances will remain the same, even if a Champion in a Summon Slot is replaced.
Note: All available Summon Slots must be filled. If players only partially fill the Summon Slots and close the window without confirming their choices, the Progressive Chance Event won’t start.
Increased Summon Chances
Once Champions have been added to all of the Summon Slots, players can start summoning with an increased chance of x15. The increased summon chance only applies to the type of Shard that the Champions were selected for.
If a player summons a different Champion of the same Rarity as those in the Summon Slots, the chance of summoning one of the Champions in the Summon Slots increases from x15 to x20. If it happens again, then the chance increases to x25. After reaching the x25 chance, the summon chance will not increase any further.
If a player summons a Champion in one of the Summon Slots, the chance of summoning a different Champion of the same Rarity in one of the other Summon Slots will also increase. The summoned Champion can also be replaced in the Summon Slots, if the pool of available Champions is large enough to select a replacement. If a Champion is replaced, the increased chance remains the same. So, if a Legendary Champion in one Summon Slot was summoned at a x25 chance, the replacement Legendary Champion will also have the same x25 chance of being summoned.
The increased summon chances are fixed for each Shard type. For example, summoning a Legendary Champion from an Ancient Shard will not increase the summon chances for Champions that are part of a Progressive Chance Event for Sacred Shards.
When the chance of summoning a Champion in Summon Slot is increased, players will receive a message in the Summon window, informing them that the summon chance has increased. Players can also view their current chance of summoning a Champion during a Progressive Chance Event on the right-hand side of the Portal window.
Note: Champions that are obtained outside of Shards will not affect the Summon Slot chances.
Also, there are several restrictions when it comes to how Progressive Chance Events will align with other summoning events. The restrictions are as follows:
- If a Progressive Chance Event and an Extra Legendary Event are active at the same time, the summon chance will only increase one time when summoning the initial Legendary Champion; the Extra Legendary does not count towards increasing the summon chance. If you started the Extra Legendary Event with a x15 chance in the Progressive Chance Event, it will only increase to x20 after summoning the initial Legendary Champion and receiving the Extra Legendary
- If a Progressive Chance Event and a Guaranteed Champion Event are active at the same time, summoning the guaranteed Champion will not affect the summon chances in a Progressive Chance Event
- Each new Progressive Chance Event will reset the summon chances, so you cannot carry over progress between Events. If you ended one event with a x25 chance of getting specific Legendary Champions from Sacred Shards, the chance will reset back to x15 in the next event.
