The Demon Lord is a special Clan Boss available only to Clan Members
The Demon Lord works differently to most other Bosses, in that it can be beaten through the cooperative efforts of all Clan Members.
Attacking the Demon Lord is the primary way of winning extremely valuable Clan Chests.
Demon Lord Keys are required to fight against the Demon Lord. Players are given one Demon Lord Key every 6 hours, but extra Keys can be purchased from the Shop.
The Demon Lord cannot be defeated in a single fight. Each Clan Member’s attacks wear down the Demon Lord’s HP, with each subsequent attack picking up where the previous one left off.
The amount of damage each individual Clan Member is able to deal influences which Demon Lord Chest they will receive as their reward.
Demon Lord Chests
Demon Lord Chests contain randomized rewards, but are the only way of winning Cruel and Immortal Artifact Sets.
The Demon Lord resets at 10:00 UTC every day.
The number of Demon Lord Chests each player receives depends on the outcome of that day’s Demon Lord battles.
- If the Demon Lord is damaged but survives, each contributing Clan Member will receive one Demon Lord Chest according to the damage they dealt.
- If a Clan defeats the Demon Lord, each contributing Clan Member will receive two Demon Lord Chests according to the damage they dealt.
The Demon Lord has 6 difficulties:
Players can only fight the Demon Lord on higher difficulties if their Clan successfully defeats the Boss on the previous difficulty.
Once a new difficulty is unlocked, it is permanently unlocked for that Clan – the Clan does not need to beat the previous difficulties each day.
Battling the Demon Lord on higher difficulties allows Clan Members to win better, more valuable Demon Lord Chests.
The Demon Lord fully heals – even if defeated – at 10:00 UTC every day. This means Clan Members can fight the Demon Lord again and win more Demon Lord Chests.
The Demon Lord always starts with the Void Affinity. Once the Demon Lord’s HP drops below 50%, the Boss will change Affinity to another random Affinity in the next battle.
Due to the random Affinity change, teams with multiple Void Champions or well-balanced mixes of Affinities have the advantage.
Quick Battle is an optional feature for players who want to fight the Demon Lord, but do not want to watch the whole battle play out in real-time.
When using Quick Battle, the game will run a Demon Lord battle as if the player was playing in Auto mode - but the battle will take a matter of seconds to complete. Team presets and general Demon Lord battle mechanics remain the same as if the player was running the battle normally in Auto mode. Once a player has initiated a Quick Battle, they cannot interfere with the battle until it finishes.
Unlocking Quick Battle
The Quick Battle feature is available for every Demon Lord difficulty. However, a player must first unlock Quick Battle on each difficulty in order to use it.
To unlock Quick Battle, a player needs to deal a set amount of damage using a single Demon Lord Key. The amount of damage needed to unlock Quick Battle corresponds to the amount of damage needed to receive the highest value Demon Lord Chest on that particular difficulty.
It is possible to unlock Quick Battle for several Demon Lord difficulties at once. For example, if a player achieves the Quick Battle unlock conditions on Brutal, it will also unlock Quick Battle on all Demon Lord difficulties below Brutal (Hard, Normal, and Easy respectively).
